This 35 minute workout is over before you know it because you are just having so much fun with it.  You start off with your warmup, then go into your first interval of jogging, running to faster running, back to jogging then walking…your next interval you end off with some tabatas (fancy word for 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of recovery). Et voila, tu es finis!!  You can change up the intensity of this workout each time you do it…you are in control of how hard you want to work.  If you want to push harder one day, then increase your speed on the drills…if you need a quick workout but not so intense, then keep your speed at a nice comfortable pace!! YOU ARE THE BOSS OF THIS WORKOUT!!  You are going to be amazed at how many miles you get into this quick 35 minutes even though you will realize that there is just as much walking as there is running in this one – not that its about the number of miles…remember portaPT workouts are about quality, not quantity.

Take note there is a section where I will be asking you to “jump off the treadmill” and NO… this does not mean you Superman Fly Off the treadmill.  You will place one hand on each handle bar, lift your body weight up and then place each foot on each side of the platform.  To get back on the treadmill, you will do the same thing…support your body weight and then place your feet on the moving platform and go back into your run.

This workout COULD be done outdoors if you wanted to but you would need to “tweak” it a bit because obviously you can’t put yourself onto an 8% incline.  On the tabatas, you can increase your speed (so sprint for 20 seconds, walk for 10 seconds).

PLEASE NOTE:  Your purchase will be in your Account under Orders. Be sure to visit here to download your workout.  Apple users (iPhone/iPad/iPod) you will need to download the mp3 file on your HOME COMPUTER and NOT directly to your phone,  Apple does not allow third-party direct downloads, it will only stream and you will lose the download. Enjoy!

This workout is great because it’s so NOT BORING. There’s a new surprise around every corner that motivated me to keep going. There’s tabatas at the end that are killer but I loved them! Just like JulieAnne says, they’re not bad at first but by the end, you feel them!

This is one of my all time favorite HIIT workouts. I love that it is short but effective. I look forward to the tabatas at the end. It truly is over before you know it. This has become my go to podcast when time is a factor. I love Julie-Anne’s clear and concise coaching.

My go-to workout when I need to get a quick workout in! Fastest 35 minutes. It feels more like 10 minutes. Interval training is vital in gaining speed and strength in my running. This workout is definitely a fun way to get my interval training done!

This is my FAVOURITE (actually they all are) portaPT workout. It’s the one I recommend to everyone! I love it. It’s short and quick and the tabatas at the end are awesome. You work so hard during the short 30Ish minutes and then you jump into these really fun tabatas that PUSH YOU leaving you on a running high when you finish. Highly recommend!!!
