This is a 49-minute treadmill workout that is sure to light some fire under your feet.  We will focus on your running form.  A good healthy turnover of your legs should be short and quick.  Today we put you to the test and see where you are at.  You will be walking, jogging, running and sprinting, BUT the good news is…this workout is for all levels because you are always in control of your speed. Grab your water bottle, jump on that treadmill and get ready to see “time fly”.  Personal Training at its best coming your way…you won’t regret it.

PLEASE NOTE:  Your purchase will be in your Account under Orders. Be sure to visit here to download your workout.  Apple users (iPhone/iPad/iPod) you will need to download the mp3 file on your HOME COMPUTER and NOT directly to your phone,  Apple does not allow third-party direct downloads, it will only stream and you will lose the download. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorites! I go back to this one often as it tests my running cadence to see if I’m where I’m supposed to be. It’s perfect for beginners or those who have never had good running training as it works on your form; plus, you get a good workout & motivational message at the end! Highly recommend this one! It’s the best one to start with & re-use occasionally to bring you back to proper form & cadence!

This workout gives me a chance to re-evaluate my running form. Occasionally, I catch myself trying to beat the clock and not paying much attention to my form. I love how this running workout helps me adjust my cadence and running form. I often find myself remembering this particular workout to pay more attention to my running form where needed while doing other portapt treadmill workouts. One of my favorite advices Julie-Anne gives in this workout that I always catch myself thinking while running is, “Short and quick [strides], like you’re stepping on hot coals.” That usually does the trick for me.

Before I performed this workout I didn’t realize how bad my form was while running. PortaPT really guides your run on this one and allowed me to focus on my strides per minute. Learning quick strides with a quick turnover has been a challenge for me, as I am used to longer strides and landing on my heels. Through the duration of all of these workouts I have done, I will always focus on this particular workout for my form and turnover rate. I am aiming for more strides each time I run! I have noticed that with a quick turnover and more strides per minute my runs are actually easier!
