This 45+ minute treadmill workout is guaranteed to take you to the next level…no plateauing here.  You will be playing a mixture of heart rate games, training the heart to become stronger, healthy and more efficient.  This workout will look different every time you do it because you are in complete control of how you get your heart rate up or down, so be sure to MIX IT UP.   Heart rate training is about taking control, showing discipline and training like an educated athlete.  Anyone can just jump on a treadmill and boast that they almost made themselves puke but who can train S.M.A.R.T., get results and cross that finish line first?? This, my friends, will be the one who values the importance of Heart Rate Training!

NOTE: Heart Rate Monitors are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for this workout (it can still be done on perceived exertion but that is not true heart rate training), along with a “don’t give up” attitude.

    Can’t say enough about this run… Training smart and efficient is what this run will help you with. It’s a hard but fun run… It’s over with before you know it! Putting all the peices of the puzzle together…. This is a BIG part of the puzzle. Love heart rate games!!!!!

    This is a great run that helps me learn how to be a more effective athlete. It is a great tool to learn about how we are supposed to exercise in general. I always finish this workout feeling like I have a better understanding of how to workout more effectively. I feel like I’m working smarter, not harder.

    The most beneficial element to working out is really gauging the heart rate. This workout is great for understanding heart rate zones and understanding one’s threshold. I recommend this to anyone looking to really optimize their workouts by paying close attention to their heart rate.
