2016 FALL 8 Week portaPT 

FITNESS CHALLENGE

Who's ready for another FUN and MOTIVATING 8 Week Challenge?  I know many of you are READY, since you have been asking me to get this ball rolling!!

START DATE:

Week 1 - Monday, October 31st, 2016

You will receive 2 Weekly portaPT treadmill workouts to do from me, your COACH, along with 2 - 10 to 20 minute CORE/STRENGTH workouts!  You will be rewarded for doing a DAILY FOOD JOURNAL, FOAM ROLLING and even some EXTRA FUN CHALLENGES may come your way (of course, I know everyones favorite is the NO JUNKFOOD CHALLENGE for a week). You do not have to be a RUNNER to do this Challenge. Is there some RUNNING involved? Yes, but the majority of portaPT treadmill workouts are HIIT style (High Intensity Interval Training).  We use a 5K Race Day just as a MARKER to see change and improvement.

You will also be part of a SECRET FACEBOOK Group where you can encourage, motivate and inspire other Challengers.  I will also post some educational FITNESS TIPS and SECRETS to keep you engaged and educated! 

If you recommend a NEWBIE to the 8 Week Challenge, you will receive a $10 CREDIT back towards your ENTRY FEE!! No limits! Just need to tell me who you got to join the Challenge (I won't hunt you down, so please be sure to tell me who to give CREDIT, where CREDIT is due).

iPHONE USERS...DID YOU KNOW??

Many people are afraid to join the portaPT Crazy Train (as I like to lovingly call it :) because many don't know how to download the workouts to their iPhones and don't want to do it from their computers (which is the official way to do it).

But FRET no more, here is a way that iPhone users can download the portaPT workouts DIRECTLY TO THEIR IPHONES!  This can be done in a few easy steps!

1.  Download the app MyMedia from your App Store. (see pictures below for STEP by STEP) Open up MyMedia.  

2.  When you open MyMedia, it will look like a regular browser. Go to www.portaPT.com and LOG IN to your Account.

3.  Under my Account, you will find your downloads.  LONG CLICK on a workout and choose DOWNLOAD FILE.

4.  SAVE the file. And your workout will begin downloading (will need WiFi or Internet Connection)

5. When you are ready to do the workout, OPEN up MyMedia app and at the bottom, you will find a folder named MEDIA. Open this folder.

6. You will find your workouts here. Click on the workout you are wanting to do and PRESS PLAY!!

7. GET READY TO SWEAT and HAVE FUN!

And there you have it! No more EXCUSES haha! 

WHEN YOU OPEN MyMedia...here are the STEPS and the SCREENS you will go to!

1. When you open MyMedia, it will look like a BROWSER.

2. Log in to your portaPT account and go to my Account.

You will see all of your purchased downloads.  

3. BE SURE TO LONG CLICK (hard click, click and hold, whatever way you see it) and the Download File box should come up.

4. Click Download File and Save It.

The File will start to download and show you the progress.  Once it has finished downloading, go to the bottom of the screen and click on the MEDIA file folder.

5. Your workout is now SAVED in this Media File folder.  Anytime you want to do the Workout, open the MyMedia app, click on the Media File folder and choose your workout you want to do.
